It is proposed that the work within these\u00a0areas is made tangible in the form of five demonstrators,\u00a0through which we verify our national position and\u00a0thereby become involved in desirable international\u00a0collaborations.<\/li>\n<li><strong><strong>Strengthen the arenas for\u00a0aerospace manufacturing<\/strong><\/strong><strong>:\u00a0<\/strong>We suggest the development of better structures for\u00a0SMEs within the manufacturing sector with the support\u00a0of industrial research institutions. This is to ensure\u00a0that as much of the chain of innovation as possible\u00a0shall remain in Sweden and so that we can generate\u00a0highly-skilled jobs domestically. At first, we will focus\u00a0on production within the field of metal technology from\u00a0our base in Trollh\u00e4ttan and in the field of composite\u00a0technology from our base in Link\u00f6ping. Pilot programmes\u00a0must be established with the objective of developing\u00a0the abilities and technologies of high-tech SMEs\u00a0in order to enable them to become suppliers to the\u00a0aerospace industry. The conditions for the participation\u00a0of SMEs in research projects and the associated funding\u00a0models must also be reviewed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strengthen the research networks:\u00a0<\/strong>In order for academic research to effectively contribute\u00a0to innovation, its results must be distributed more\u00a0quickly to the market. We want to increase the ability\u00a0of academic organisations through companies providing\u00a0the necessary details of future market needs. Universities,\u00a0colleges, and institutes should work together to\u00a0meet these future needs using the most effective strategies\u00a0possible. Naturally, this cooperation also applies to\u00a0organisations beyond the aerospace sector.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Establish Forum NRIA Flyg (= Innovair):\u00a0<\/strong>In order for the direction of our investments within the\u00a0aerospace sector to be clear and to ensure widespread\u00a0consensus, we recommend that a forum be established,\u00a0which will take ownership of research coordination\u00a0within Swedish aerospace. The forum will further\u00a0develop the roadmap for the aerospace sector, focussing\u00a0and synchronising activities and collaborations, and\u00a0managing regular follow-ups with analysis and reporting\u00a0concerning the status of recommendations made and\u00a0measures taken.
