The EU project LOCOMACHS was set up to focus on significantly reducing or totally eliminating the most time-consuming and hence non-added value operations within aerostructure assembly. 32 PARTNERS took part in LOCOMACHS, including some of the most prominent research institutes and universities in Europe as well as the leading European SMEs and large industries within the aeronautics sector. The project is led by Saab AB.
