Riggen ger unika m\u00f6jligheter till testning av EEM under realistiska str\u00f6mningsf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden. Projektet EATEEM syftar till att utveckla utloppstekniken f\u00f6r minskade CO<sub>2<\/sub>-utsl\u00e4pp och minskad motormassa.<\/p>\n<p>Det andra projektet kallas <i>Process Simulation and Tool Compensation Methodology for High Temperature Composite Processes\u00a0<\/i>(ProTHiC) och handlar om de inre delarna av kompressorstrukturer i kompositmaterial. L\u00e4ttare flygmotorer kr\u00e4ver att man ers\u00e4tter metallmaterial med kolfiberf\u00f6rst\u00e4rkta kompositmaterial. Traditionella epoxibaserade kompositer kan dock endast anv\u00e4ndas upp till runt 200\u00b0C. Fokus f\u00f6r ProTHiC \u00e4r att ers\u00e4tta metaller med polymerer som klarar mycket h\u00f6gre temperaturer.
