Projektet handlade om <strong>innovativ konstruktion och validering av komplexa flygplansstrukturkomponenter<\/strong> framst\u00e4llda genom <strong>additiv tillverkning.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additiv tillverkning m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r <strong>flexibilitet och frihet i konstruktion och formgivning<\/strong> som inte kan uppn\u00e5s med traditionella tillverkningsmetoder, samtidigt som den kombinerar <strong>h\u00f6g precision och optimerade egenskaper<\/strong> \u2013 f\u00f6r l\u00e4gsta vikt och br\u00e4nslef\u00f6rbrukning \u2013 hos den tillverkade detaljen.<\/p>\n<p>Projektets m\u00e5l var att skapa <strong>f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r materialbeteende<\/strong> f\u00f6r optimerade utmattningsprestanda, att <strong>vidareutveckla tekniker och metoder<\/strong> och att <strong>demonstrera teknikens till\u00e4mplighet<\/strong> i en lastd\u00f6rrkomponent av titan.<\/p>\n<p>Den demonstrerade lastd\u00f6rrkomponentens vikt blev runt <strong>23-29 procent l\u00e4gre<\/strong> \u00e4n vad som uttrycktes i projektm\u00e5len med f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrade utmattningsegenskaper.
