FMV har nu fått i uppgift av Försvarsmakten att påbörja etablering av tekniskt stöd och bakre underhåll för motorn till JAS 39E vid GKN i Trollhättan. Motorn tillverkas i USA av General Electric, GE, och benämns RM16 i Sverige.
In connection with the ATI-conference in Birmingham November 19-20, a workshop about the next steps in SE-UK collaboration was held at ATI in London on November 18. At this occasion participants presented posters outlining capabilities and areas that they feel would benefit from UK-Sweden collaboration. These presentations have been joined and are available here.
Vinnova and Innovair together with its UK partners Innovate UK and ATI are currently in the process of finalising the details of the funding call expected to go live in the Spring of 2020.

THE ECATS CONFERENCE WILL RUN AS PLANNED 13-15 OCTOBER BUT THE SARC ANNUAL MEETING IS FURTHER POSTPONED.
The new date for the SARC annual meeting is set to Nov. 12-13, 2020. The meeting will be run in collaboration with the SARC-BARINet workshop. BARINet is the Brasilian Aerospace Research and Innovation Network.

IntDemo – internationellt flygtekniskt demonstratorprogram för ökad konkurrenskraft, miljöanpassning och flygsäkerhet
I den nya IntDemo-utlysningen möjliggör vi bilateral samverkan med strategiskt prioriterade länder på högre TRL än vad som tidigare medgetts inom ramen för IFFP (som är den internationella delen av det nationella flygforskningsprogrammet NFFP).
Utlysningen är ett kompletterande led i att gemensamt med andra västliga länder bemöta den ökande konkurrensen som globaliseringen innebär. Den totala budgeten för utlysningen är 100 miljoner kronor och slutdatum för ansökningar är 17 januari.
